Wraparound Care Assistant in Croydon
£14.24 - £15 per hour. Salary depends on qualifications and experience.
Start date: 19 October 2026 | part-time, long-term, temporary
Hours: Term time; breakfast and/or after-school club sessions, with exact times agreed before placement.
Give children a welcoming start to the morning or a relaxed end to their school day. These wraparound-care roles combine safe supervision with games, crafts and conversation, helping pupils enjoy time with their friends outside lessons. Transparency Education is recruiting for two positions in Croydon.
Key responsibilities
Supervise children safely during breakfast or after-school sessions
Organise age-appropriate games, crafts and quieter activities
Support snack routines, hygiene and positive behaviour
Follow registration, collection and safeguarding procedures carefully
Role requirements
Experience working with primary-age children
Reliability, clear communication and a positive approach to activities
Availability for agreed breakfast and or after-school sessions
A commitment to safeguarding and an enhanced DBS check appropriate to the role, or willingness to complete one.
