Overall Job Purpose
You will work as part of a team and support Warehouse management in performing goods receipt and handling, stock moves, cycle counting, order picking, preparation and the despatch of materials and finished goods.
You will also work closely and collaboratively with colleagues across all levels of our business while additionally providing cross-functional support/cover as and when required across all warehouse operation functions when workload demands and/or in respect of absence cover.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Duties May Include:
· Order picking (primarily),
· Unloading materials and goods from arriving transport,
· Performing goods receipt and checking/booking in of materials and product,
· Stock moves between storage locations and to product work areas,
· Stock and finished material checks and cycle counts,
· Physical preparation, packing and palletisation of customer orders,
· Preparation of shipping documents,
· Returns handling and processing,
· Using material handling equipment to load customer orders onto arranged transport,
· Performing stock maintenance; reporting stock levels, availability and discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager,
· Highlighting issues/risks with warehouse systems and work areas for action/resolutions,
· Correct/safe storage of materials and finished goods, ensuring Safe Working Loads (SWL) are not exceeded,
· Updating and maintaining product and location information records in systems.
Salary & Terms:
£13.5 per hour
8am start
40 hours a week
