As a Pastoral Assistant, you will work closely with students, families, teachers, and external agencies to provide guidance, support, and encouragement, ensuring every student feels safe, valued, and supported.
Key Responsibilities
Provide pastoral support to students across the school.
Build positive relationships with pupils to promote wellbeing and engagement.
Support attendance, behaviour, and safeguarding initiatives.
Work with families and external agencies to support student needs.
Assist in resolving student concerns and barriers to learning.
Promote positive behaviour, resilience, and personal development.
Monitor student welfare and maintain accurate records.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Experience working with children or young people, preferably within an educational setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A caring, empathetic, and patient approach.
The ability to build positive and professional relationships with students and staff.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
