Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Hours: 39 hours per week (Day Shift)
Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 16:30, Friday 07:30 – 12:30
An established Coventry-based engineering company is seeking a moderately skilled Centre Lathe Operator / Assembler to join our production team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with foundational machining experience looking to develop their skills with further training.Key Responsibilities

Operating manual centre lathes to produce engineering components.

Assembling mechanical parts and components according to specifications.

Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings.

Conducting quality checks on your own work to ensure accuracy.
Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of proven experience operating a centre lathe.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

Proficient in using micrometers and vernier calipers for measurement.

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn assembly processes.
