An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Director of MIS to lead a broad corporate services function across MIS, IT, Business Intelligence, Admissions and Exams.
This is a senior leadership role, responsible for driving the effective use of data, systems and technology while ensuring strong funding, compliance and data quality.
Key responsibilities

Lead and develop teams across MIS, IT, BI, Admissions and Exams

Oversee ESFA and OfS funding contracts, corporate returns, ILRs, HESEs and audit compliance

Lead the development and management of MIS, student records and reporting systems

Oversee college-wide IT infrastructure, networks, hardware, software and systems

Ensure accurate and effective use of Power BI, dashboards and management reporting

Interpret and implement funding rules to maximise funding and maintain audit compliance

Present key data and performance information to senior leadership

Manage budgets, contracts and tendering processes across the service
About you:
You’ll be an experienced senior MIS/Data or IT professional with a strong understanding of FE data, funding, compliance and reporting. You’ll have proven leadership experience and the ability to manage complex teams, systems and projects while providing clear strategic direction.
Strong knowledge of ILR, ESFA/OfS funding, Power BI, data quality and audit compliance will be highly relevant to the role.
