Description
Provide comprehensive HR advice and guidance to employees and managers across a broad range of people-related matters, ensuring alignment with organisational policies, procedures, and best practice.
Serve as the primary contact for employee relations issues, managing disciplinary, grievance, capability, and performance matters through to resolution, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes.
Support managers with complex and high-volume absence management cases, including long-term sickness, workplace adjustments, and occupational health referrals, ensuring compliance with relevant employment legislation.
Lead and support organisational change initiatives, including consultations, restructures, contractual changes, redundancies, and employee transfers, ensuring adherence to employment law and company procedures.
Review, develop, and update HR policies and procedures to reflect legislative changes, emerging best practice, and organisational requirements.
Analyse employee turnover data and exit interview feedback to identify trends and support the development of retention and engagement initiatives.
Maintain high standards of data protection and confidentiality, ensuring accurate employee records and compliance documentation are managed in line with GDPR requirements.
Manage family leave processes, including maternity, paternity, adoption, and shared parental leave, coordinating closely with employees, managers, and payroll teams to ensure a positive employee experience and legislative compliance.Profile
A successful People Advisor should have:
Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment law.
Experience in providing HR advice and supporting employee relations.
Proficiency in managing HR systems and maintaining accurate records.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.

Salary ranging from £34,000 to £38,000, dependent on the level of experience.
