Join a Leading Housing Association's Responsive Repairs Team
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established housing association within the public sector for an experienced Fencer to join their growing Responsive Repairs Team, working across Wirral and the wider North West.
Due to increasing demand for fencing works across the organisation's housing stock, a dedicated two-person fencing team is being established to deliver high-quality fencing installations, repairs and replacements for residents and communities.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fencing professional who takes pride in their workmanship and is committed to providing a high standard of service to residents.
The Role
As a Fencer, you will carry out a range of fencing installation and repair works across the housing association's properties.
Working as part of a dedicated two-person team, you will play an important role in maintaining the quality, safety and appearance of residents' homes and surrounding areas.
Key responsibilities will include:
Installing, repairing and replacing fencing to a high standard.
Carrying out responsive repairs across residential properties.
Working closely with your fencing partner and the wider repairs and maintenance team.
Maintaining high standards of workmanship, efficiency and health & safety.
Providing a professional and respectful service to residents.
Working in occupied properties and residential communities with consideration and care.
Ensuring work is completed in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and health & safety requirements.About You
We are looking for an experienced Fencer who can demonstrate:
Proven experience in fencing installation and repairs.
Strong practical and technical skills.
A commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
A professional and customer-focused approach.
The ability to work effectively as part of a two-person team.
Reliability, good timekeeping and a strong work ethic.
An understanding of working safely within residential environments.
