Payroll Administrator
Salary: £28,000–£30,000 FTE (pro rata for 32 hours)
Location: Doncaster
Working Pattern: 4 days per week / 32 hours
Office: Fully office-based
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time
The Role
An opportunity for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join an established HR and Payroll team, supporting accurate and timely payroll delivery within a fast-paced organisation.
The role will cover payroll processing, Time & Attendance, employee queries and statutory submissions, alongside opportunities to support payroll and HR improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities

Process weekly payroll data, hours and employee changes.

Input and validate overtime, deductions, absences and adjustments.

Support end-to-end payroll processing and payroll reconciliations.

Maintain accurate employee and payroll records.

Support FPS and EPS submissions to HMRC.

Assist with pension administration and contributions.

Resolve employee payroll queries.

Produce payroll reports and management information.

Support payroll and HR projects and process improvements.
Ideal Candidate
-
Minimum 2 years’ payroll processing experience.

Good knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements.

Experience using payroll and Time & Attendance systems.

Strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail.

Good Excel skills – VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables advantageous.

Comfortable working to strict payroll deadlines.

CIPP qualification advantageous, or willingness to work towards one.

Able to work from the Doncaster office full-time.
