A specialist London property consultancy is looking to appoint an Associate Director Quantity Surveyor to help lead and grow their healthcare cost management offering. The successful Associate Director Quantity Surveyor will combine project leadership with a strong focus on winning new work and developing client relationships.
The Associate Director Quantity Surveyor will oversee major healthcare commissions while identifying new opportunities across the sector. Alongside delivering projects, the Associate Director Quantity Surveyor will be expected to build relationships, lead bids, generate fee income and convert opportunities into long-term client accounts.
This position would suit an Associate Director Quantity Surveyor with strong healthcare experience and a proven commercial network. The Associate Director Quantity Surveyor will have genuine influence over sector growth, team development and the future direction of the cost consultancy service.
Associate Director Quantity Surveyor - Key Responsibilities:
Winning new cost consultancy instructions across the healthcare sector
Developing relationships with healthcare clients, trusts, developers and project stakeholders
Building and converting a strong pipeline of new opportunities
Leading fee proposals, bids, presentations and client interviews
Managing major healthcare cost management commissions
Providing strategic cost, procurement and commercial advice
Overseeing project performance, profitability and service quality
Identifying opportunities for repeat business and account growth
Leading and mentoring Quantity Surveyors across the team
Representing the consultancy at industry and client events
Associate Director Quantity Surveyor - Candidate Requirements:
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline
MRICS qualified with significant consultancy experience
Strong track record delivering healthcare projects
Proven success in business development and work winning
Established network within the London healthcare and property market
Demonstrable ability to generate fee income and develop client accounts
Strong knowledge of JCT, procurement and cost management
Excellent presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills
Experience managing and developing Quantity Surveying teams
