Our client, a well-established business within the manufacturing industry, based in Evesham, has an exciting new opportunity for a Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis due to continued business growth.
The successful Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative should have:
Previous warehouse or stores experience
Previous experience operating a forklift, with a valid forklift licence desirable
Good communication skills and a strong team-player mentality
A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work
The ability to work independently and use their initiative
Good computer literacy and a good understanding of warehouse processes
In this role, the Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative will be responsible for:
Operating a forklift safely and efficiently to move, load and unload stock
Completing goods in and goods out activities, including picking and packing
Carrying out assembly and rework of products
Supporting the movement, storage and consolidation of stock throughout the warehouse
Ensuring stock is stored safely and efficiently and that the warehouse remains clean and organised
Completing general warehouse duties as required to ensure goods are received and dispatched correctly and on time
Our client is offering the successful Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative a salary of £27,300, alongside a range of benefits including holiday allowance, pension, onsite parking and the potential of an annual bonus plus full training to support you in the role.
