THE ROLE
As an Experienced Commercial Panel Beater, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring commercial vehicles to a consistently high standard. You'll work as part of a skilled repair team, ensuring vehicles are repaired safely, efficiently and in line with manufacturer repair methods and professional industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
·Carry out minor and major panel repairs and replacement work on commercial vehicles
·Complete structural repairs, panel alignment, welding and metal finishing where required
·Assess vehicle damage and select the appropriate repair methods and techniques
·Repair and replace damaged body panels and associated vehicle components
·Work closely with other technicians and workshop colleagues to ensure efficient vehicle throughput
·Identify additional damage or repair requirements and communicate these to the relevant team members
·Complete repairs within agreed production times while maintaining excellent workmanship
·Follow manufacturer repair methods, quality standards, Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced and quality-focused Commercial Panel Beater who takes pride in producing high-quality repairs and consistently delivering first-class workmanship.
·Proven experience as a Panel Beater, Commercial Panel Beater or Panel Technician within a commercial vehicle or accident repair environment
·Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle construction and body repair methods
·Experience carrying out panel repairs, replacement, alignment and structural repairs
·Strong welding, metal finishing and associated body repair skills
·Ability to assess vehicle damage and determine appropriate repair methods
·Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and vehicle safety
·Ability to work efficiently to deadlines, production targets and agreed repair times
·Strong team player with a professional and positive attitude
·Relevant industry qualifications advantageous but not essential
·Full UK Driving Licence preferred
