Brownhills Motorhomes are currently seeking a Casual Driver for delivery and collection of new and used motorhomes. This is an exciting opportunity to join our successful company.
We are the UK's largest Motorhome dealer and one stop destination for all Motorhome requirements. We sell new and used motorhomes, parts and accessories, undertake motorhome services/repairs and have an onsite bistro and leisure facilities. We employ around 200 staff at our 13 acre site.
Main Responsibilities
The role involves full and complete vehicle inspections, reporting any faults (training provided), collection and delivery of the vehicles around the UK; working variable hours, including weekends. Additionally you will be required to cover in the absence of our Workshop Drivers; driving motorhomes in and out of the workshop for technicians to work on the vehicles.
Skills for the position
Be confident with a cheerful disposition
Must be polite and articulate whilst engaging with customers
Accurate when documenting and passing information
Have good time management skills
Able to follow specific instruction
Must be able to drive vehicles up to 7500kg (with clean driving licence)
Hours of Work
You will not have any normal hours of work and are not guaranteed any hours of work. You will be offered work if it becomes available. You will be given as much notice as is practicably possible.
Most of our drivers work 2/3 days per week, some jobs could be a couple of hours and some could be travelling to Cornwall or Scotland which may need an overnight stop. Full training will be given and you would go with an experienced driver each time until you understand the process/routine.
