Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:
Process customer sales orders accurately and within agreed order cut-off times
Handle complex customer queries and complaints via telephone, email and other communication channels
Manage orders of varying complexity, including export documentation and certifications
Build strong customer relationships and act as a key liaison between customers, sales and internal departments
Support and coach new Customer Service team members, including system training and identifying further development needs
Work closely with departments including Sales, Warehouse, Shipping and Production to resolve customer queries and ensure smooth order fulfilment
Contribute to key business projects including new product launches, customer onboarding, system improvements and process enhancements
Required Skills & Experience:
Customer Service experience, ideally within a fast-paced commercial or manufacturing environment
Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex customer queries
Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office and experience using an ERP system such as Sage, SAP or Oracle
A proactive approach with the ability to work collaboratively and support colleagues across the wider business
Experience with export orders/documentation would be advantageous
