Woodworking Machinist / Machinery Operator
Location: Morley, Leeds
Pay: From £13-£15ph
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00
Our client is a well-established bespoke woodworking manufacturer based in Morley, Leeds. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Woodworking Machinist / Machinery Operator to join their team.
The Role
You will operate a range of traditional woodworking machinery to produce high-quality bespoke joinery and woodworking products.
Duties include:

Setting up and operating traditional woodworking machinery

Using equipment such as spindle moulders, panel saws, planers and thicknessers

Working from technical drawings and cutting lists

Checking quality and dimensions of finished products

Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
About You

Level 2 qualification in Wood Machining required

Previous woodworking/machining experience is desirable but not essential

Newly qualified candidates are encouraged to apply

Good attention to detail and willingness to learn

Reliable and able to work as part of a team

Experience with traditional woodworking machinery would be an advantage
