Who we are
We have supported people with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions to live independently in their own homes for over a decade. We have no external shareholders. The people we support, and the people doing the supporting, are who we answer to.
Who we are looking for
We are recruiting a Health & Social Care Trainer to join our existing Learning & Development team.
This is an exciting and versatile role that combines face-to-face training delivery, practical skills development, and digital learning. You will play an important role in supporting our colleagues to build their knowledge, skills, and confidence, whilst working collaboratively with the team to create and develop accessible, engaging courses for our own Learning Management System (LMS).
What you’ll be doing
-
Deliver engaging, high-quality face-to-face training to colleagues across our services.
-
Support colleagues to develop and maintain practical health and social care skills.
-
Work alongside the Learning & Development team to design and develop accessible digital learning.
-
Create engaging online courses and learning resources for our LMS.
-
Support a positive learning culture where colleagues feel encouraged and empowered to develop.
What we need from you
We are looking for someone who is passionate about learning, development, and supporting others to reach their potential.
You will need:
-
A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel to our locations in Dorchester, Ferndown and Salisbury.
-
Experience of delivering training to individuals or groups.
-
Experience of creating and developing training courses and learning resources.
-
Excellent digital skills and experience using a Learning Management System (LMS).
-
Experience with Articulate and SCORM.
-
Experience of supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
A passion for supporting the growth, development, and success of colleagues.
-
The ability to make learning accessible, engaging, and relevant to a wide range of learners
We offer a supportive and collaborative working environment where your contribution can make a real difference to the development of our colleagues and the quality of support we provide.
If you're passionate about health and social care, enjoy helping others develop their skills, and are excited by the opportunity to combine face-to-face training with digital learning development, we'd love to hear from you
