Your new role
As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of a high-volume Transactional Finance team.Responsibilities may include:
Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
Managing supplier queries and resolving discrepancies
Supporting payment runs
Supplier statement reconciliations
Maintaining accurate supplier account records
Investigating outstanding invoices and payments
Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Supporting workflow management activities
Producing reports and analysing data using Excel
Assisting with wider transactional finance processes as requiredWe are keen to speak with candidates from Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger, Finance Assistant and broader Transactional Finance backgrounds. What you'll need to succeed
Previous Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger or Transactional Finance experience
Experience working within a high-volume processing environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Experience managing supplier queries and account discrepancies
Good Excel skills including Pivot Tables and Lookups
A proactive and adaptable approach to workWhat you'll get in return
