Interim Deputy Headteacher – Behaviour and Culture
Location: Secondary school near Salisbury
Contract: Interim, initially until Christmas
Start date: ASAP
Working pattern: Full-time preferred; 4 days per week considered
We are recruiting an experienced Interim Deputy Headteacher to join a secondary school near Salisbury, with a focus on behaviour and school culture.
This is an opportunity for a confident senior leader with a strong track record of raising standards and supporting staff to establish consistently high expectations.
The role
Working with the school’s leadership team, you will:

Lead on behaviour and culture across the school.

Support staff to embed clear expectations and consistent behaviour management.

Strengthen standards of behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.

Help build a school culture that supports both staff and pupils.
The ideal candidate
You will be an experienced Deputy Headteacher, Assistant Headteacher or senior leader with:

A proven track record of improving behaviour, culture and standards within a secondary school.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to support and motivate staff.

A consistent approach to behaviour management and high expectations.

Availability to start ASAP and commit initially until Christmas.
Full time availability is preferred, although the school will consider an experienced candidate who can commit to 4 days per week
