They're looking for an R&D Finance Business Partner to join their finance team.
This is a high-profile role. You'll look at how the business invests in its products, technology and AI, and what that investment delivers. It's an ideal next step for a finance business partner who wants real exposure to a technology business and a clear path to grow.
What you'll be doing
Partnering R&D, Product and IT leadership on spend, forecasts and investment decisions
Building and owning product-level P&Ls and unit economics
Tracking R&D delivery and spend against the roadmap and investment cases
Creating business cases for new R&D, AI and infrastructure investment, and reviewing outcomes afterwards
Analysing hosting and infrastructure costs and maintaining cost models
Building dashboards and reporting that give leadership clear, timely visibility of spendWhat they're looking for
4+ years in FP&A or business partnering, ideally supporting technical or product teams
Strong Excel and modelling skills, including P&L builds, cost allocation and scenario analysis
Confident communicator who can challenge senior non-finance stakeholders
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or part qualifiedDesirables
SaaS or software industry experience
Power BI, Tableau or Looker
SQL or Python
Exposure to Agile delivery or JiraThe office is easily commutable by road and rail, with two days a week on site
