The Opportunity
A well-established contractor based in Ringwood is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Business Administration Apprentice.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start their career in business and gain valuable experience while working towards a Level 3 Business Administration qualification.
You’ll work alongside an experienced office team, gaining exposure to a variety of business functions rather than being limited to one area of administration.
On successful completion of the 18-month apprenticeship, there is the potential to progress onto a Level 4 apprenticeship in a more specialist area, depending on the needs of the business and your interests. This could include Finance, Accounting, IT, HR or another relevant discipline.

Your role will develop as you gain experience, but your initial responsibilities will include:
-
Answering the main office telephone and taking or directing messages
-
Booking hotels, travel and accommodation for staff
-
Processing employee expenses
-
Carrying out general office administration and filing
-
Assisting with supplier invoice processing under the guidance of the Accounts team
-
Supporting with basic finance and administration tasks as your knowledge develops
-
Providing general administrative support to the wider office team
-
Learning how different areas of the business operate and working with colleagues across the organisation
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
-
Enthusiastic and keen to start their career
-
Organised and reliable
-
Confident communicating with people
-
Comfortable using computers and willing to learn new systems
-
Able to work as part of a team
-
Proactive and willing to get involved
-
Interested in developing their skills and progressing within a business
Previous office experience isn't essential – the most important thing is having the right attitude, willingness to learn and commitment to developing a career.
