Are you passionate about supporting children and looking for a role where you can make a real difference?
Aspire People are working in partnership with a school in Leicester who are looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience working with children and is interested in developing their experience within SEN. You'll be based in one school, Monday to Friday, working closely with pupils and the wider school team to provide support both in and out of the classroom.
You don't necessarily need extensive SEN experience for this role, but you must be willing to work with children with additional needs and have a patient, understanding and supportive approach.
What we're looking for:
Previous experience working with children is essential
A genuine willingness to work with children with SEN and additional needs
SEN experience would be desirable but is not essential
A relevant qualification such as a Level 2/3 Childcare, Teaching Assistant or SEN qualification would be desirable
Someone who is patient, caring and reliable
Someone who can build positive relationships with children
A good team player who is happy to work alongside teachers and support staff
A valid DBS on the Update Service is desirable, but if you don't currently have one, you must be willing to obtain one
What you can expect:
£105 per day
Monday to Friday, full-time
Long-term work based in one school
Support from your dedicated Aspire People consultant
The opportunity to gain valuable experience working with SEN pupils
The chance to build strong relationships with pupils and become part of the school team
If you have experience working with children, are willing to support pupils with SEN and are looking for your next opportunity in education, we'd love to hear from you.
