We are currently recruiting for an experienced Administrator / Document Controller to join our client’s team, based at their Head Office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in construction administration, document control and compliance, who is confident managing large volumes of project documentation and working across various client, contractor and compliance portals.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that documentation is accurate, compliant, correctly uploaded and kept fully up to date.
Key Responsibilities
Managing and maintaining project and site documentation.
Ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate and compliant with client and site requirements.
Uploading and managing documents through client portals, compliance portals and construction platforms.
Managing drawings, revisions and associated project documentation.
Monitoring document submissions and ensuring information is uploaded within required timescales.
Maintaining accurate document registers and records.
Checking documentation for compliance, accuracy and completeness.
Liaising with site teams, project managers, contractors, subcontractors and clients to obtain outstanding documentation.
Tracking approvals, submissions, renewals and expiries.
Ensuring site and project compliance documentation remains current.
Assisting with pre-qualification and contractor compliance requirements.
General administration and document control duties as required.
Experience & Skills Required
We are looking for someone who has previous experience within construction administration, document control or a similar compliance-based role.
Ideally, you will have experience with:
Construction site documentation and compliance requirements.
Document control and document management systems.
Construction drawings and drawing registers.
Uploading and managing documents through online portals.
Client compliance portals and contractor management systems.
A-Site or similar construction/site management platforms.
Constructionline.
SMAS.
Achilles.
Health & Safety / compliance systems.
Contractor and subcontractor compliance documentation.
Monitoring documentation, approvals, certificates and expiry dates.
Working with multiple systems and portals simultaneously.
You should be IT literate, highly organised and detail-focused, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Have previous construction administration or document control experience.
Understand the importance of document compliance within a construction/site environment.
Be confident using online portals and uploading documentation.
Have excellent attention to detail.
Be organised and methodical.
Be confident communicating with site teams, clients and subcontractors.
Be able to identify missing, incorrect or out-of-date documentation.
Be comfortable working to deadlines.
Have a proactive approach and be willing to take ownership of their workload.
