Duties

Use hand signals, radios, or other communication devices to guide cranes and heavy equipment during lifting operations

Maintain clear and precise communication with crane operators and ground personnel to coordinate movements effectively

Ensure all lifting activities comply with safety protocols and site regulations

Conduct regular inspections of signaling equipment and ensure proper functioning before use

Assist in setting up safe work zones by marking boundaries and ensuring visibility of signals

Collaborate with site managers to plan lifting sequences and optimize workflow

Document all signaling activities, incidents, and safety checks accurately in reports
Experience
-
Construction experience, particularly with heavy lifting operations or crane work

Strong communication skills to relay clear instructions under various conditions

Proficiency in English for effective verbal and written communication

Hold a valid CPCS/ NPORS Certification

Able to pass security clearance

Knowledge of safety standards related to lifting operations and site protocols is highly desirable
