As Grower, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality crops throughout the production cycle, applying your technical knowledge to ensure plants are grown efficiently and to the highest standards.
You'll have responsibility for managing key growing activities, including irrigation, nutrition, pest and disease control, growth regulation, and environmental monitoring.
Working closely with the wider nursery team, you'll help identify crop issues, implement solutions, and make informed decisions to optimise plant health, quality, and performance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking responsibility for their crops and seeing the results of their decisions firsthand.
About You
We're looking for a passionate horticultural professional with a strong interest in commercial crop production and a desire to continually improve growing standards.
You will ideally have:
2-3 years' experience within a commercial nursery or growing environment
Strong technical knowledge of irrigation, nutrition, pest and disease management, and plant growth regulation
Confidence making growing decisions and adapting techniques across different crop types
Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to crop quality
A hands-on attitude and willingness to get involved in day-to-day nursery operations
A genuine passion for plants and horticultureMost importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys growing excellent crops, takes pride in plant quality, and is motivated by the opportunity to learn and develop within a successful nursery business.
What's On Offer?
Salary of £30,000-£38,000, depending on experience
