Are you an experienced Quality Inspector looking for a new role within engineering or manufacturing?
We're recruiting for an established engineering business in Weymouth, looking for a Quality Inspector to join its quality team, inspecting machined and fabricated components to engineering drawings and customer specifications.
This role would suit someone with an eye for detail, confident using measuring equipment and comfortable working to precise tolerances in a workshop environment.

Inspecting machined and fabricated components against engineering drawings and specifications.
Using measuring equipment to check component accuracy and compliance.
Carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspection checks.
Recording and reporting non-conformance issues.
Supporting root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
Maintaining accurate quality records and documentation.What we're looking for
Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within engineering or manufacturing.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.
Confident using measuring equipment, including verniers, micrometers and gauges.
High attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.Experience using CMM equipment, working within precision engineering or machining, and knowledge of ISO quality systems would be advantageous.
