We’re currently recruiting for Cleaning Operatives / FLT Counterbalance Drivers to join a busy site in Ashford.
This is a hands-on role combining cleaning duties with Counterbalance FLT driving, offering ongoing work with the potential to move into a permanent position.
The role
You’ll be responsible for helping to maintain a clean, safe and well-organised working environment, alongside carrying out FLT Counterbalance duties as required.
The role is initially temporary, with the opportunity to transfer into a permanent position after 12 weeks for the right person.
Shift Pattern
This is a rotating shift pattern, working:
The night shift runs Monday to Thursday only, but you will be paid for a full 37.5-hour week.
The shift pattern then rotates back to the early shift.
What we're looking for

Valid Counterbalance FLT licence

Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT

Experience working in a cleaning, warehouse, manufacturing or industrial environment

Comfortable working rotating shifts, including nights

Reliable and punctual

Good understanding of health and safety

Able to work independently and as part of a team
