The Role
As a Powder Coater / Metal Finisher, you will be responsible for preparing and finishing a range of products to a high standard. You will work as part of the Operations team and play an important role in ensuring finished products meet the required quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Powder coating white goods, trolleys and other metal products
Degreasing and cleaning products before powder coating
Preparing surfaces using hand and power tools
Buffing and polishing where required
Carrying out quality checks and ensuring consistency in finished products
General manufacturing and assembly duties
Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
Supporting other areas of the manufacturing operation when required
Following company HSE policies and safe working practices
Shift Details
£14.00 per hour
Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm
Friday 7am-12pm
Overtime available on Saturdays
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is reliable, hands-on and takes pride in the quality of their work.
You should have:
Previous experience in powder coating, metal finishing or a similar manufacturing environment
Experience using hand and power tools
Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality
A reliable and dependable approach to work
Good time management and the ability to meet deadlines
A flexible approach and willingness to support different areas of the operation
Good communication skills
A positive, can-do attitude
