We are currently recruiting for an experienced Manual Lathe Turner to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in Romsey.
This is a hands-on role suited to a skilled machinist who is confident operating conventional manual lathes and producing precision-engineered components to specification.
Key Responsibilities:

Operating manual/conventional centre lathes.

Manufacturing components from engineering drawings.

Working to tight tolerances and quality standards.

Measuring and inspecting finished parts using a range of inspection equipment.

Maintaining a safe and organised work environment.
Requirements:

Previous experience operating manual lathes.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
-
Competent using measuring equipment including micrometers and verniers.

Strong attention to detail and quality.

Reliable and able to work independently.
