Are you a hands-on Assembler Fitter with practical fitting skills and a full UK driving licence?
Workshop Recruitment is recruiting an Assembler Fitter to join a well-established business in Portsmouth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a practical approach, good attention to detail and the ability to work safely and efficiently.
The role is offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis and includes occasional deliveries, so a full UK driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble components and equipment accurately to required specifications.
Fit parts and components using appropriate tools and equipment.
Follow work instructions and established assembly procedures.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.
Identify and report assembly issues or defective components.
Carry out occasional deliveries to support business operations.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet operational targets.
Skills & Knowledge Required
Previous experience in assembly, fitting or a similar hands-on role.
Practical ability to use hand tools and relevant equipment.
A full UK driving licence and willingness to undertake occasional deliveries.
Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
A reliable, hardworking and flexible approach to work.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Awareness of workplace health and safety.
