Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking an Estimator on behalf of one of our clients.
This a key role within the business, responsible for accurately pricing projects, supporting the sales process and ensuring a smooth handover from tender through to order.
Ideal role for someone with a construction/trade background looking to get into estimating/sales.
Company oncourse to grow to over £10million revenue by 2027.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Receive and review incoming tender information, ensuring all requirements are fully understood.
Liaise directly with clients to clarify project scope, specifications and requirements.
Prepare accurate budgets and quotations in line with client needs and company margins.
Work closely with the sales team to support the wider bid and sales process.
Manage multiple tenders simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Keep the CRM system fully up to date with tender status, client communications and quotation details.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
Skills and Qualifications:
Previous construction experience looking to get into estimating/sales
Previous experience in an estimating role desirable, ideally within electrical or smoke ventilation industries.
Strong numerical and analytical skills, with high attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and confidence liaising with clients.
Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively to meet deadlines.
Good working knowledge of CRM systems and general IT proficiency (Excel, Word, etc.).
A proactive, organised and collaborative approach to work.
