Pertemps Swindon are currently looking for manufacturing /warehouse operatives to work with one of our prestigious clients in Swindon. Monday to Friday 06:00-14 and 14:00-22:00 weekly rotating shifts.
This is temp to permanent opportunity.
Pay rate £13.50 raising after becoming permanent
Please note that drug and alcohol test will be required prior to start.
Responsibilities:
Be part of production and/or warehouse team depending on business needs
Running machines making sure health and safety procedures are adhered
Quality check to minimise defects
Supporting warehouse and dispatch team if machines are not runningRequirements:
Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
Experience operating machinery and handling materials safely
Familiarisation of quality and safety procedures
Awareness of Lean Manufacturing and 5S
Physically fit and be able to stand for long periods of time
Counterbalance FLT licence preferred
Teamwork skills with ability to work independently when needed
Detail focused with commitment to get things rights first time.
