Reeson Education is recruiting an After School Club Assistant for flexible afternoon bookings across schools in East London. The After School Club Assistant will work on a zero-hours supply basis, giving you the opportunity to choose your availability and take suitable 3pm-6pm bookings across different schools.

What the Role Involves
As an After School Club Assistant, supervise children throughout the after-school session.
The After School Club Assistant will support a range of games, creative activities and recreational play.
Encourage children to participate, socialise positively and enjoy the club environment.
An After School Club Assistant may support snack times and other daily club routines.
Maintain appropriate behaviour and clear boundaries while creating a relaxed environment after the school day.
The After School Club Assistant will follow safeguarding, collection and school-specific procedures.
Help staff prepare activities and leave the club area organised at the end of the session.
What We're Looking For in an After School Club Assistant
Previous After School Club Assistant, school, childcare or playwork experience, or credible transferable experience working with children.
Candidates from sports coaching, youth work, mentoring, tutoring, childcare and community work backgrounds can be considered.
Reliable, punctual and able to follow different school routines.
Friendly and confident communicating with children and other staff.
Strong safeguarding awareness.
An After School Club Assistant should be willing to travel to different East London schools for suitable bookings.
