Job Title: Depot Foreman
Location: Outskirts of Crawley
Salary: £40k - £47k dependent on experience

Overview
A leading company on the outskirts of Crawley is seeking an experienced Depot Foreman to oversee day-to-day engineering operations at their depot.
You'll be responsible for leading a team of engineers and labourers, ensuring equipment is maintained to a high standard, health and safety requirements are met, and the depot operates efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical or electrical engineering / hire background, proven leadership experience and a hands-on approach.
Role Summary
Supervise and support engineers and depot staff
Ensure health & safety compliance and promote safe working practices
Oversee the preparation, maintenance and servicing of mechanical and electrical equipment
Manage stock levels and ensure equipment is ready for use
Attend site surveys, installations and call-outs when required
Maintain accurate inventory and equipment records
Lead performance reviews and support staff training and development
Help ensure the depot operates efficiently and to a high standardRequirements
Previous experience in a foreman, supervisor or team leader role
Background in mechanical or electrical engineering/maintenance
Experience working with industrial, plant, machinery or technical equipment
Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of health & safety and compliance
