Ranson Barnes Recruitment is working with an established international business to recruit a Sales Support Co-ordinator for its Sheffield team. The company serves customers across the retail, hospitality and foodservice sectors.
This is a varied role combining customer service, sales administration and trade marketing support. You’ll help keep orders and customer information accurate, support campaigns and product launches, and look after a portfolio of smaller foodservice accounts as they move to ordering online.
The Role

Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email, providing product information and a high standard of service.

Process orders, prepare quotations and keep customers informed about stock availability and deliveries.

Prepare presentations, proposals and reports for the sales team.

Keep CRM records, customer details and sales activity up to date.

Track sales data and help measure the results of campaigns and promotions.

Support the planning and delivery of trade marketing campaigns, events, trade shows and product launches.

Research market trends and competitor activity.

Help foodservice customers move to online ordering, maintain their price files and monitor stock requirements.

Share information about new products and the wider range to help develop those accounts.
About You
You’ll have experience in sales support, sales administration, customer service or marketing co-ordination. Experience in a B2B, manufacturing or distribution business would be particularly useful.
You’ll be organised, confident speaking with customers and comfortable managing several priorities at once. Accuracy matters in this role, especially when handling orders, pricing and customer data. You’ll also need a good working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Experience with CRM or order-processing systems, e-commerce, foodservice, hospitality or trade events would be an advantage, but isn’t essential.
