Marketing Executive
Location: Derby City Centre (Office Based)
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
The Opportunity
Cherry Professional are delighted to be recruiting for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Executive to join a successful and well-established professional services organisation based in Derby city centre.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a small marketing team where you will play a key role in delivering engaging campaigns, supporting events, managing digital content and helping to raise brand awareness both internally and externally.
The successful candidate will be a proactive team player with strong communication skills and previous experience in a Marketing Assistant or Marketing Executive position.
Key Responsibilities
Create and schedule engaging content across social media platforms
Assist with the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns
Maintain and update website content, ensuring information remains accurate and relevant
Manage and update customer and prospect data within the CRM system
Liaise with external PR partners, agencies and suppliers
Support the promotion and delivery of networking, client and wellbeing events
Assist with the organisation and coordination of both virtual and face-to-face events
Create marketing materials and collateral to support business objectives
Monitor campaign performance and provide reporting where required
Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across the business
Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing activitiesAbout You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Previous experience within a Marketing Assistant, Marketing Coordinator or Marketing Executive role
Strong social media and digital marketing knowledge
Experience using CRM systems and maintaining marketing databases
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A creative mindset with the confidence to bring forward new ideas
The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
A collaborative and positive approach to teamwork
Experience supporting events and stakeholder engagement activitiesA marketing qualification or degree would be advantageous, although practical marketing experience is equally valued.
