Document Controller / Design & Information Coordinator

We are seeking a Document Controller / Design & Information Coordinator to join a major project team in Birmingham.
This is not a traditional document control role. We're looking for someone who can take ownership of the project information environment, work closely with design and delivery teams, and play a key role in ensuring project information is managed effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing and developing the project's 4Projects / Trimble Common Data Environment (CDE), helping to establish and maintain a clear and controlled information management process across the project.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing and developing the project 4Projects / Trimble CDE
Supporting the migration and organisation of historic project information
Establishing and maintaining a clear "single source of truth" for project information
Managing drawings, technical submissions, workflows, reviews and approvals
Coordinating information between designers, contractors, FM providers and the wider project team
Supporting design coordination activities and tracking technical deliverables
Assisting with asset, handover and lifecycle information requirements
Providing wider project support to the Project Director and delivery team
About You
To be successful, you will have:
Experience within document control, information management or project information coordination
Experience working in construction, infrastructure, healthcare or major project environments
Good working knowledge of 4Projects, Viewpoint, Trimble or a similar Common Data Environment
Experience managing technical documentation, drawings and document workflows
Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
The ability to work collaboratively with design, delivery and client teamsExperience within design coordination, technical coordination, BIM or information management would be particularly advantageous.
