Company Commercial Solicitor | 5+ PQE | Hertford | Part-Time
A well-established, Legal 500-ranked law firm with a strong reputation across Hertfordshire is seeking an experienced Company Commercial Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join its specialist team on a part-time basis, working 2 days per week (14.5 hours).
Working closely with the Partner and Head of Company Commercial, you will handle a varied commercial caseload and play an active role in developing the firm's company and commercial offering. The role provides an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive, collaborative and progressive environment, with no existing following required.
Key responsibilities:
Advising clients on a broad range of commercial matters and contracts
Managing your own caseload and meeting clients independently
Drafting high-quality commercial documentation and correspondence
Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
Identifying new business and referral opportunities
Supporting seminars, workshops, networking and business development
Contributing to the continued growth of the commercial department
Requirements:
Qualified and practising Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE
Strong practical experience in company commercial work and commercial contracts
Excellent drafting, communication and interpersonal skills
Commercially minded with a genuine interest in business development
Strong organisation and ability to manage competing priorities
Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to working with clients across Hertfordshire and surrounding areas
