I am recruiting for a local authority who are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to provide financial advice and challenge to senior managers and budget holders. The role will be for 6-12 months and is paying up to £500 p/day.
Key responsibilities:
Business partner with senior stakeholders and service leads.
Lead budgeting, forecasting and monthly management accounts.
Provide financial analysis, modelling and commercial insight.
Monitor budgets, variances, risks and savings programmes.
Support strategic financial planning and decision-making.Requirements:
Strong Finance Business Partner / Management Accountant experience.
Previous local authority/public sector experience highly desirable.
Excellent budgeting, forecasting and stakeholder-management skills.
