ST TALENT are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on behalf of a well-established business based in Wetherby.
This is a hands-on warehouse role within a busy and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing and dispatching orders, maintaining stock accuracy and supporting the day-to-day operation of the warehouse.
We're looking for someone who enjoys keeping busy, takes pride in their work and can work efficiently whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking customer orders using handheld scanner devices
- Packing and dispatching products using warehouse software systems
- Processing goods-in deliveries and stock put-aways
- Repacking products into branded packaging for retail displays
- Accurate labelling of products and shipments
- Stock counting and inventory checks
- Maintaining warehouse organisation, cleanliness and safety standards
- Supporting general warehouse operations as required
About You
- Previous warehouse picking and packing experience is essential
- Comfortable working to deadlines within a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Positive attitude and good work ethic
- Open, honest and reliable approach to work
- Able to follow instructions and processes accurately
- Numerate and literate with basic IT skills
- Comfortable using handheld scanners and warehouse systems
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
- Able to remain on your feet throughout the working day
- FLT Licence advantageous but not essential
- Own transport is essential due to the location of the site
