Press Brake Operator – Night Shift
Location: NG16
Shift: 4 nights per week
Hours: 5:30pm – 4:15am
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a busy and well-established engineering and fabrication business based in the NG16 area.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in press brake operation and sheet metal fabrication who is looking for a permanent night-shift position with a stable company and a consistent workload.
The Role
Working as part of an experienced fabrication team, you will be responsible for operating Amada press brake machinery, producing high-quality components to drawing and specification.
Your duties will include:
Operating Amada press brake machinery
Setting and operating the machine to produce components accurately
Reading and working from engineering drawings
Selecting appropriate tooling and setting machine parameters
Checking finished components to ensure they meet required specifications
Carrying out quality checks throughout production
Working to production schedules and maintaining high standards of accuracy
Working safely and keeping the working area clean and organised
About You
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Press Brake Operator / Press Brake Setter Operator within a fabrication or engineering environment.
You should be confident with:
Operating press brake machinery
Reading engineering drawings
Working with sheet metal
Setting tooling and machine parameters
Producing accurate components to specification
Working independently as well as part of a team
Experience with Amada machinery would be highly advantageous.
