About You
-
Experience within a textile environment operating industrial machinery such as presses and/or digital cutting equipment
-
Experience handling sheet, fabric, laminate or composite materials, with a strong focus on precision, repeatability and minimising waste
-
Able to interpret work instructions, specifications, drawings, templates and production paperwork
-
Comfortable working with controlled documents and traceability requirements
-
High attention to detail with a strong commitment to safety, quality and traceability
-
Able to work accurately to specifications, tolerances and cut patterns
-
Competent using measurement and inspection equipment
About the role
-
A key part of the role will be setting up and operating industrial press machinery, including pre-start checks, tooling and fixture changes, parameter verification and safe start-up and shutdown

You’ll set up and operate digital cutting machinery
-
You’ll prepare and load production materials in line with work instructions, ensuring correct lay-up, alignment and batch identification

You’ll monitor machine performance and product quality, responding to alarms and process deviations and escalating issues when required

You’ll carry out in-process and final inspections, checking dimensions, edge quality, defects and overall product quality using appropriate measuring equipment

Maintaining accurate product and material traceability will be an important part of the role, including labelling, identification, batch records and controlled documentation

You’ll carry out routine autonomous maintenance including cleaning, inspection, lubrication and tightening
-
This is a hands-on role involving regular manual handling, including the safe lifting and carrying of heavy goods with appropriate training and equipment provided.
