Quality Controller - Witham

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Prime Appointments are recruiting for a Quality Controller to join a busy and fast-paced food production environment in Witham.
This is a Temp to Perm opportunity, offering long-term stability for someone with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their experience within a quality-focused role.
Key Responsibilities of the Quality Controller:
Monitoring Critical Control Points (CCPs)
Carrying out product quality and temperature checks
Completing glass and hard plastic inspections
Performing shelf-life assessments
Supporting micro sampling and factory swabbing activities
Verifying label print and date code accuracy
Conducting scale and equipment calibration checks
Assisting with pre-start and production changeover checks
Ensuring production and quality paperwork is completed accurately
Escalating any quality or safety concerns promptly
Maintaining Clean as You Go standards
Working closely with the Quality and Production teams
Requirements:
Excellent attention to detail
Previous experience within an FMCG or food manufacturing and production environment is desirable
Ability to follow procedures and production schedules accurately
Good communication skills
Positive attitude and team-focused approach
Willingness to learn and develop - full training provided
