Customer Service Executive Location: Sutton Coldfield (Office Based)
Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00
The Opportunity
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Customer Service Executive to join our clients growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys delivering outstanding customer experiences, solving problems, and building strong relationships with customers.
As a key member of the Customer Service team, you will support customers throughout their journey, from initial enquiry through to order completion, delivery, and after-sales support. Working closely with Sales, Operations, Compliance, and Dispatch teams, you will ensure customers receive accurate information, timely communication, and a seamless service experience.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a primary point of contact for customers via telephone, email, and other approved communication channels.
Respond to customer enquiries promptly, professionally, and accurately.
Assist customers with placing orders and provide guidance throughout the purchasing process.
Support customers with buyback transactions and coordinate collections where required.
Process customer deposits and explain compliance requirements clearly and confidently.
Liaise with internal departments to obtain information and resolve customer queries efficiently.
Monitor and manage delivery-related issues, raising investigations with couriers where necessary.
Keep customers updated throughout delivery investigations and ensure all issues are resolved to a satisfactory conclusion.
Arrange showroom appointments and coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders.
Maintain accurate customer records and transaction details across company systems.
Request and review customer documentation in line with company compliance procedures.
Take ownership of customer issues, ensuring they are followed through to completion.
Develop a strong understanding of company products, services, and processes.
Support the wider team with ad hoc duties and projects as required. About You

Essential Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a customer service role.
Experience communicating with customers via telephone and email.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple enquiries effectively.
Confident using IT systems and learning new processes.
Customer-focused with a professional and positive attitude. Desirable Skills & Experience
Experience in sales support, account management, retail, or a customer-facing environment.
Experience within a regulated industry such as financial services, e-commerce, or financial products.
Knowledge of compliance processes and customer documentation requirements.
