We’re looking for a warm, confident and creative HLTA to support a primary school in Marple. This is a role for someone who loves the buzz of school life: building relationships with pupils, making learning click and bringing a little extra energy to the classroom.
Whether you’re leading a planned lesson, helping a small group master a new skill or encouraging a pupil who needs a confidence boost, your work will make a difference every day.
✨ A day in the role
Lead teacher-planned lessons and keep pupils engaged in their learning
Deliver small-group activities and interventions
Support children with a range of learning needs
Help create a positive, inclusive classroom where pupils feel ready to participate
Share feedback with teachers and celebrate pupils’ progress along the way
You’ll bring
Experience as an HLTA, or strong primary school experience leading learning
Confidence managing a class and adapting your approach when needed
A calm, encouraging manner and a sense of fun
Good communication, teamwork and safeguarding awareness
