Sales Designer – Fitted Wardrobes
Location: Berkhamsted
Salary: £36,000 basic + commission
OTE: £50,000–£60,000+
Our client is a specialist fitted furniture business based in Berkhamsted, and due to continued growth they are looking for an experienced Sales Designer to join their team.
This is a customer-facing role where you will be responsible for meeting customers, understanding their requirements and designing bespoke fitted wardrobe solutions to suit their needs, space and budget.
The role:

Meet with customers and understand their requirements

Design and present bespoke fitted wardrobe solutions

Manage the customer journey from initial consultation through to sale

Build strong relationships with customers and maximise sales opportunities

Work towards an initial monthly sales target of £30,000

Once fully trained, work towards monthly sales of £50,000–£60,000

Maintain a high level of customer service throughout the process
Package:
-
£36,000 basic salary
-
2% commission on net sales up to £30,000 per month
-
5% commission on net sales above £30,000 per month
-
Realistic OTE of £50,000–£60,000+

Five-day working week
-
Two Saturdays per month, with a day off in lieu for each Saturday worked

Full training and support provided
About you:
We are looking for someone with a strong background in sales, ideally within fitted furniture, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, interiors or another consultative sales environment.
You will need to be confident dealing with customers face-to-face, comfortable working towards sales targets and able to understand a customer's requirements before translating them into a suitable solution.
