Workshop Foreman – Warrington
Hours: Full time, permanent
Earning Potential – Salary:
£45,000 – £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate (if productive)
Overview
We're looking for a Workshop Foreman to join a well-established commercial vehicle specialist in Warrington.
This is a leadership role – managing a team of 18 technicians and 2 apprentices, providing technical support, and ensuring the workshop runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
Leading and managing a team of 18 technicians and 2 apprentices
Providing technical support and guidance to the workshop team
Ensuring work is completed to manufacturer and DVSA standards
Managing workshop workflow and allocating jobs efficiently
Maintaining health and safety standards across the workshop
Supporting the Service Manager with daily operations
Assisting with diagnostics and technical queries where required
Option to be productive if desired – not mandatory
What You'll Need
Proven experience leading teams of technicians in a workshop environment (essential)
Strong technical knowledge of HGVs and commercial vehicles
Level 3 qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or IMI) in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance (essential)
Ability to provide technical support and guidance to a large team
Organised, methodical, and able to manage multiple priorities
Full, current UK driving licence – HGV licence beneficial but not essential
