Electrical Instructor / Trainer
£40,000 – £45,000 | Monday–Friday | 8am–5pm | North East
We’re looking for an experienced electrical professional to join a growing training team, delivering short electrical courses at training centres throughout the North East.
This could suit an existing Electrical Lecturer, Tutor, Trainer or Instructor, or an experienced Electrician, Electrical Engineer, Approved Electrician, Electrical Supervisor or Electrical Technician looking to move off the tools and into training.
The role:
Deliver short courses including 18th Edition and 2391 Inspection & Testing and more
Deliver classroom and practical electrical training across centres throughout the North East
Keep delivery aligned with current regulations and industry standards
Develop into delivery of EV, Solar PV and Battery Storage, with upskilling provided where required What we’re looking for:
Level 3 Electrical qualification or equivalent
18th Edition
2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent
Strong electrical industry experience
Teaching or assessing experience is beneficial but not essential Package:
£40,000 – £45,000
Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm
Permanent, full-time
Support to complete teaching qualifications
Training and upskilling in renewable technologies
Ongoing professional development A strong opportunity for experienced electricians looking to move into training, or qualified electrical trainers looking for their next role, with teaching qualifications and additional technical upskilling provided where required
