Multi-Skilled Loft Boarding Installer
Location: Cardiff, Newport, Swansea & surrounding South Wales areas
Salary: £33,000 – £42,000 per annum
Employment: Self-employed initially, with the opportunity to progress into a permanent position
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Multi-Skilled Loft Boarding Installer to join our growing team across South Wales.
The role will initially be offered on a self-employed basis, with the opportunity to progress into a full-time permanent position for the right candidate.
You will work independently across Cardiff, Newport, Swansea and surrounding areas, carrying out loft installations and a range of associated carpentry and building work.
Key Responsibilities

Install loft boarding and raised loft flooring systems.

Carry out plasterboarding and plastering work.

Fit wooden and aluminium loft ladders.

Complete general carpentry and building work.

Make insulation adjustments where required.

Carry out basic electrical work where appropriately qualified.

Maintain clean, safe and organised work areas.
Requirements

Proven experience in carpentry, loft installation or a similar trade.

Confident working independently with hand and power tools.

Own suitable tools for carrying out the work.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across South Wales.

Reliable, professional and able to work to a high standard.

Electrical qualifications are desirable.
