FLT Driver (Counterbalance & Reach) – FMCG Drinks Production

Location: BB9 5SR

Pay rate: £14.48 - £21.74 per hour

Shifts: Continental days and nights (6:00am–6:00pm / 6:00pm–6:00am)

About the role

TRC are recruiting experienced Counterbalance and Reach FLT Drivers to join a busy FMCG drinks production site. This is a predominantly forklift-based role, supporting warehouse and production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Successful candidates will be reliable, safety-conscious and able to work a rotating continental shift pattern.

Shift pattern

This role operates on a rotating continental shift pattern:

Week 1: 5 day shifts – 6:00am to 6:00pm

Week 2: 2 day shifts – 6:00am to 6:00pm

Week 3: 5 night shifts – 6:00pm to 6:00am

Week 4: 2 night shifts – 6:00pm to 6:00am

The pattern then repeats.

Key responsibilities

Operating both Counterbalance and Reach FLTs safely and efficiently.
Loading and unloading vehicles.
Moving stock throughout warehouse and production areas.
Supplying production lines with materials.
Stacking and storing finished goods.
Supporting goods-in and goods-out operations.
Completing daily FLT safety checks.
Adhering to all health and safety procedures.

Requirements

Valid, in-date Counterbalance and Reach FLT licences.
RTITB or ITSSAR accredited licences.
Previous warehouse and/or FMCG experience is preferred.
A strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
Reliable with excellent attendance.
Able to commit to rotating day and night shifts.

This is a non-smoking and non-vaping site.
The site operates an allergen-free working environment.
The working environment is warm.
Strict hygiene standards apply, including no jewellery, false nails or false eyelashes.
Safety boots and hi-vis are required, with additional PPE provided on-site.
