About the Role
We are recruiting a reliable Traffic Marshall / Site Labourer for an ongoing project in Reigate, Surrey.
This is a dual-purpose role where you will manage vehicle access and traffic safety at the site entrance, while assisting with general labouring duties across the site during quieter delivery periods.
Key Responsibilities
Traffic Control: Safely guiding construction vehicles, delivery lorries, and plant machinery into and out of site gates using standard hand signals.
Gate & Pedestrian Safety: Managing pedestrian safety near site entry points and keeping public walkways clear of site traffic.
Delivery Logging: Checking in delivery drivers, inspecting delivery notes, and directing lorries to designated unloading bays.
General Labouring: Assisting site trades, clearing construction waste, sweeping access routes, and keeping skips tidy during delivery downtime.
Strictly enforcing site traffic management plans and health & safety standards.
Requirements
Valid Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Banksman Ticket (CPCS, NPORS, or Lantra accredited essential).
Valid CSCS Card (Green Labourer card or above).
Full PPE (High-vis jacket & trousers, steel toe boots, hard hat, and safety gloves).
Previous experience in a combined gate, traffic management, and labouring role.
Strong communication skills, punctual, and highly dependable.
Right to work in the UK.
Working Hours & Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (40-45 hours per week).
Start Date: Immediate / Upcoming.
Duration: Long-term ongoing work.
Weekly pay via CIS, Umbrella, or PAYE options.
