As a Metal Polisher, your responsibilities will include:
Polishing stainless steel components to a smooth, hygienic finish in line with food industry standards
Operating grinding and polishing machinery to remove stains and achieve consistent surface finishes
Selecting the right hand tools and techniques for each job to get the finish exactly right
Inspecting finished work closely to confirm it meets quality standards before it moves on
Maintaining a clean, organised workspace at all times
As a Metal Polisher, your experience will include:
At least 1 year of hands-on metal polishing experience, ideally finishing stainless steel
Experience within food manufacturing, hygienic fabrication or a similar precision environment is highly desirable
Confident use of hand tools and polishing machinery, with knowledge of different polishing techniques
A sharp eye for detail and the ability to spot defects through close visual inspection
The physical fitness to handle some heavy lifting as part of the role
